Humans = 1/Turkeys = 0
Thursday, November 27th, 2008Hi, folks! I hope you are enjoying a lovely day off – I know I am! My Thursday night venues are closed today, so you’ll have to settle for reading Trivial Pursuit cards over Thanksgiving dinner for your quizzery fix tonight. For Christmas, however, the good people of The Hutch believe that Portlanders need a place to get their drink on, and that the show must go on! In other words, Triviology at The Hutch will rock forth as usual on X-mas Eve, as it falls on Wednesday’s usual trivia night. Meanwhile, over the next month, keep those eyes peeled for terrible holiday sweaters – once again I will host a little contest at several venues to see who finds the most magnificently hideous garments in the land.
Thanks so much to those of you who came to Ladd’s Inn for my Sunday debut – I think it might have been my most successful premier yet! The house was packed, everybody in the bar played, and three mighty teams were rewarded for their efforts. Come check it out for yourself this Sunday – and, by the way, feel free to “double dip” (The Sweater Capes coined this phrase), as I will always have fresh questions for both East Burn at 6:00 and Ladd’s Inn at 9:00.
And here are the champions for the week of 11/23 – 11/26
