The Gift That Keeps On Giving!
Tuesday, December 28th, 2010Did Santa not bring you those gifts you asked for, after you were so good all year long?!? That’s a dick move . . . but I’m here to help! Pretend that you asked for is fame, glory, the envy of your peers, and gift certificates to some of Portland’s finest bars . . . now all you have to do is play some quizzery (and of course, win!). Many of you who wanted trophies for your Christmas costume finery, or ShanRock’s Triviology pint glasses and WikiReaders have been recently rewarded for your efforts. A member of Funke Cold Medina said that the WikiReader he won at Sewickly’s helped his daughter’s Christmas “not be shite,” and a member of Mothers of Retention immediately looked up Gigi on his freshly won WikiReader, which led him to Collette, and inspired him to share some anecdotes about her boobs with the trivia jockey. What a merry Xmas for all!
One of the final acts of 2010 here in Triviology-land will be to launch a new weekly venue in North Portland – Foggy Notion! Margaret will kick things off this Wednesday at 8:30. I already know you guys love this place – we brought the Brain Drain BarFly Trivia Bus there this year, and fun was had by all! Come on in for the inaugural win.
